Biography
Gürkan Köse brings over 25 years of extensive experience to the sport as an athlete, trainer, river guide, and rescue technician. Currently serving as the Türkiye Rafting General Coordinator, as well as the Vice President and an Executive Member of United Rafting, Gürkan has dedicated his career to the advancement of the sport. His core areas of expertise include governance, sport development, safety and rescue, and youth development. He believes the biggest opportunity for rafting over the next four years lies in building one unified, large federation, delivering high-quality events, and securing remarkable sponsorships.
