Following the initial decisions adopted by the WRF Executive Board and the WRF Board of Directors, which envisaged the adoption of additional measures, WRF has approved a new delibeartion in response to the terrible news and imagines of the war crimes in Ukraine; in its decision the governing body of World Rafting has taken into consideration the lack of a no-war stance from Russian Rafting Federation and other circumstances:
- all Russian and Belarusian teams, whether national representative teams or club teams, are suspended from participation in international competitions until further notice.
In response to Russia’s barbarous, unprovoked and unjustifiable invasion of Ukraine, Rafting Community must be fully united here and in full solidarity with all the people affected in Ukraine.
