GTE Department

The Guide Training & Education (GTE) Department develops and oversees United Rafting’s training and certification systems for river guides and other river professionals.

Led by the GTE Department Director, it coordinates the implementation of training programmes and qualification standards under the authority of the General Board. The Department works in consultation with the elected GTE Commission, which represents the river guide community, and may draw on dedicated Technical Commissions for specialist expertise.
