Last week, the Arouca Rafting Summit in Portugal concluded with a spectacular finale, bringing together 200 participants, including students, river enthusiasts, and individuals with visual impairments. The event not only showcased the excitement of rafting but also emphasized the strength of community, fostering friendships and a shared passion for this adventurous water activity. This marks a promising beginning for future Portuguese competitive teams entering WRF events.

In Ankara, Turkey, a significant event unfolded – the Rafting Referee Course. With 67 participants and 52 confirmations, this educational initiative aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of referees, contributing to the growth and standardization of rafting practices.

Continuing the global rafting excitement, Verona, Italy, hosted an open training camp on the Adige river for all registered athletes, organized by the Italian Rafting Federation.
