From February 5th to 8th, the Campeonato Brasileiro de Rafting R4 2026 officially launched Brazil’s national rafting season at the Parque Radical de Deodoro. The event gathered teams from multiple states and immediately set a high competitive standard for the year. The venue in Rio de Janeiro is a sports complex located in the Deodoro neighborhood, originally built for the 2016 Olympic Games. It will also host the upcoming Pan-American Rafting Championships 2026.

Athletes competed across three disciplines — RX Qualifier, RX, and Slalom — with overall points determining the champions. The stage also served as a qualifier for international competitions under the criteria of the World Rafting Federation.
The Deodoro stage confirmed its status as a key hub for Brazilian rafting and showcased both established teams and rising talent.
