Pan-American Council

The Pan-American Continental Council is the regional body of United Rafting representing and supporting the development of rafting across the Americas.

The Council provides a direct link between the National Federations of the continent and United Rafting’s international governance structure, bringing regional needs, proposals and priorities to the attention of the General Board.

Its work focuses on strengthening cooperation among National Federations, supporting the development and coordination of Pan-American competitions, increasing participation in rafting at all levels, and encouraging the development of athletes, officials, coaches and river professionals throughout the continent.

The Council also contributes to the expansion of United Rafting within the Americas, supporting emerging National Federations and promoting common standards in sport development, education and safety.

Council Composition

The current Pan-American Continental Council was elected by the Pan-American Continental Assembly held on 16 June 2026.
