Biography
The European Continental Council is the regional body of United Rafting representing and supporting the development of rafting across Europe.
The Council provides a direct link between the European National Federations and United Rafting’s international governance structure, ensuring that regional priorities, proposals and specific needs are represented within the organisation.
Its work includes strengthening cooperation among National Federations, supporting the coordination and development of European competitions, and promoting the growth of athletes, coaches, officials and river professionals throughout the continent. The Council also contributes to the development of rafting in areas such as education, accessibility, environmental responsibility and athlete safety.
Council Composition
The current European Continental Council was elected by the European Continental Assembly held on 16 June 2026.
