Biography
The Oceania Continental Area represents United Rafting and supports the development of rafting throughout Oceania.
Under Article 34 of the United Rafting Statutes, Continental Areas constitute territorial extensions of the Federation and support the development and governance of rafting activities within their respective geographical regions. As Oceania has not yet reached the statutory threshold of five Member Federations required for the establishment and election of a Continental Council, the region is currently represented by a Commissioner.
The Commissioner supports the development of rafting activities within Oceania, strengthens institutional relationships across the region, assists National Federations and contributes to creating the conditions for the future establishment of an elected Oceania Continental Council.

Tim Marshall
Tim Marshall was appointed Commissioner for the Oceania Continental Area by the General Board of United Rafting on 22 May 2026.
While Article 34 of the Statutes assigns the appointment of a Commissioner to the Executive Board where a Continental Area has fewer than five Member Federations, the President and Executive Board Members voluntarily referred the appointment to the General Board for consideration and approval.
The Commissioner shall remain in office until the next Elective Congress or until the statutory conditions are met for the establishment and election of the Oceania Continental Council.
