Following the 2026 Rafting Congress, the full composition of the new Athletes Commission has been officially announced. This team will serve as the primary representative body for athletes worldwide, ensuring their voices are heard at the highest levels of the sport's governance.
The election concluded on April 25, 2026, with a total of 180 ballots cast to fill the six designated seats. The newly formed commission brings together a diverse group of representatives who will work collaboratively under the leadership of the Chairperson. The elected team members are:
Angelo Eduardo Degrandi: Serving as Chairperson after receiving the highest support with 50 votes (27.8%).
Loris Minvielle: Elected to the team with 45 votes (25.0%).
Anna Kašparová: Joining the commission with 36 votes (20.0%).
Dragan Babic: Secured a position on the team with 26 votes (14.4%).
Aoust Rudy: Elected as a commission member with 8 votes (4.4%).
Martin Martinez: Completes the six-member team with 8 votes (4.4%).
This newly officialized team is now ready to begin its mandate, focusing on athlete welfare, competition standards, and the global development of rafting.
