The Pau 2026 Congress has officially concluded its 2026 elections for the Athletes Commission, marking an important step in shaping the future leadership of the organization. Voting closed on April 25th, at 10:00 PM (GMT+2), following a three-day electoral process that began on April 23rd.
This announcement arrives during an exciting week for the sport, as younger athletes and World Cup circuit competitors are currently in action in Pau - France, highlighting the vibrancy and ongoing development of the world rafting community.
A total of 180 ballots were cast out of 364 registered voters, resulting in a voter turnout of 49.5%.
Angelo Eduardo Degrandi emerged as the certified winner, securing the 27.8% and earning a place as Representative of the Athletes Commission.
The organization expressed great enthusiasm in announcing the results and emphasized its openness to volunteers who are willing and capable of contributing to the growth of the rafting movement worldwide.
