World Rafting is happy to announce a new opportunity for athletes and rafting enthusiasts who are looking to develop their skills and gain valuable international experience. In collaboration with CRFCK – FFCK: Centre régional de formation au canoë-kayak – FFCK; a rafting course will take place in Villeneuve, in the Aosta Valley (Italy), from May 11th to 23rd, 2026.
For this edition, six free places (five for level 2-3 and one for level 4+) are available for worldwide participants. Over the course of almost two weeks, participants will train on natural rivers, learn from experienced instructors and work on both technical and safety aspects of rafting, while sharing this experience with people from different countries in a spectacular alpine environment.
The course is open to motivated applicants who are at least 18 years old, affiliated with a World Rafting Federation (WRF) Member. A basic knowledge of English is required, along with good physical fitness and confidence swimming in moving water. Participants are expected to be fully involved in all course activities, including safety briefings and equipment preparation. Space accommodation will be provided in the form of free camping for the duration of the course. Participants will need to bring their own equipment.
