Attention Athletes, Coaches, Officials, and the Global Rafting Community!
We have identified a coordinated fraudulent operation targeting our community. Fake social groups, pages, and profiles are currently impersonating the World Rafting Federation (WRF) and our partners to steal money and sensitive personal data.
🔴 The “Paid Live Stream” Scam — and more
These scammers are posting malicious links related to upcoming or ongoing rafting events, promising “Live Streams” or exclusive content. When clicked, these links redirect users to external websites that demand credit card details or a so-called “subscription fee” to view the race.
⚠️ BE ADVISED:
The WRF NEVER asks for credit card information, subscriptions, or direct payments via social media to access official live stream coverage or any other content.
Rafting is built on trust and teamwork. Don’t let scammers pollute our waters.
